Running Pictures

I’ve been pumping out at least half a thousand words every day so far, but I figure it’s more an effort and an interest thing than sheer volume, so today I’ve done something slightly different.

Today’s been pretty typically overcast, except the clouds are much more… billowing than they usually are on a grey day, so I took my phone with me on my run, and took pictures of some of the better views on the route I take. It’s mostly pylons and leaveless trees, but I personally love me some pylons and barren trees. It’s all to do with that melancholy that I was talking about yesterday; I like the solitary nature of it, and how the pylons and the trees all seem to be in on it together, all of them standing upright and proud, despite the fact that they’re equally alone. Something like that, anyway.

About Phill Cameron

I've graduated, had a look at the world, and spat. Now I'm devoting my time to moving from 3/4 of a games journalist to 9/10ths. I figure I can get away with 9/10ths.
